The Press Photo Area is intended to support members of the press covering the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Academy Awards®. You must request and receive a user name and password from us before you may access the photo archive portion of this site. Please read the Conditions of Use then fill out the Application for Online Access to download these photos.

Once your application has been approved, you will be able to browse the archive, and download images. The three ways of browsing images are:

List Events - Photographs are organized by event
List all Images - All images from the selected section(s) are shown (newer images are listed before older images)
Photo Search - Only matching photographs are shown

Searching - how to find photos of a particular person or subject
Display Formats - available options for browsing the archive
Downloading - how to download the high resolution images to your computer
